Amongst today's spam promising immediate gratification was the unsolicited communication below from a number of kind ladies from the former Soviet Union. Pausing only to note the obvious ehthusiasm young Svetlana (third row on the left) has to escape the current Russian heatwave, I have two tips:
- Sales of eye-liner and mascara seem to be very brisk in the Ukraine. Maybe worth investigating a franchise or sales agency for the region.
- If you are on the road in the Ukraine and thinking about stopping for the night in Nikolaev or Mariupol .... just keep driving.

I think you are a very silly and ignorant person. I have no time to read info about you, but I guess you're American. You people think you're the best in the world in everything (my friend moved to the US when she was 12; she would have always C from maths, but in the US, they transferred her two years higher and she still had A). The truth is you have almost no history or culture and you have no right to make jokes about other, much richer, nations. I mean, don't judge all nation upon a few funny examples. Ukraine is a great and beautiful country, with a great history, people are well educated and smart. The culture of Slavic countries is wonderful and under-appreciated.
I am Polish myself and know many Ukrainians and I have to tell you, that they, although intelligent, are also very modest, unlike Americans that bring world only war and shitty capitalism.
Your women are mostly too big and wear too big, awful clothes and you're probably grinding your teeth none of these beautiful Ukrainian girls would even look at you. I feel so sorry for you!

Hello Joanna, welcome to the blog, and no I am not American, although interestingly my eldest daughter is but her younger sisters are not. None of them however are as foolish as you describe have graduated with fine degrees from Oxford University.

Maybe my previous post was a bit rude, because I always get angry with ignorance and lack of respect for other people; but if you were a gentleman, you wouldn't react to it like you have.
I don't doubt your daughters are intelligent (although there are many great universities in Europe and I have graduated from one of them too), I was writing to you, not about them.
Do you think the fact you are able to read my IP address is impressive? C'mon... I don't know if life here is like living in Basingstoke as I have never been there, but I bet you know it's much worse, although you haven't been here either :] Still, I am not keen to judge all British people just upon this one example. Learn some respect for others and don't get furious and agressive that easily - it's unhealthy.
